What we’ve won.

Since 2023, we’ve been organizing parents and would-be parents to win free universal child care across New York State. Here’s what our organizing has already delivered for families.

    4-year-olds by 2028

When free 3-K was on the chopping block, parents organized to defend it — and won permanent funding to keep the program intact for good.

  • $167 million in permanent, baselined funding for NYC
    3-K

  • New funding for outreach and family access

SINCE 2019

Built a statewide movement

What started as a handful of parents is now a citywide force for elected leaders to reckon with.

  • Grew to 12,000+ parents and supporters

  • Organized rallies and coordinated constituent outreach across the city

  • Made universal child care a top issue in NYC’s 2025 election

This is what organizing wins.
