REGIONAL ORGANIZER - HUDSON VALLEY
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 Annually
The Hudson Valley Regional Organizer will lead organizing efforts in key areas by recruiting and developing parent leaders, building partnerships with local organizations, expanding NYUC's membership, and implementing statewide organizing campaigns at the regional level. This position requires someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, developing leaders, and creating sustainable organizing structures capable of winning long-term policy change. The organizer will work across multiple counties, helping parents and caregivers become leaders who organize their own communities and shape NYUC's campaigns. This position will report to the Director of Organizing.

COMMUNITY CANVASSER
Compensation: $20-$25 Hourly
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 6-10 hours per week, with regular evening and weekend availability
Location: Field-based across assigned New York communities
NYUC seeks energetic, outgoing, and dependable Community Canvassers to help grow our membership and identify parents, caregivers, would-be parents, grandparents, and community members who want to take action for universal child care. Canvassers will serve as a frontline point of contact between NYUC and communities across New York. Through door-to-door canvassing, street outreach, community events, schools, parks, playgrounds, transit hubs, child care centers, and other neighborhood locations, canvassers will speak directly with New Yorkers about their child care experiences, introduce them to NYUC's campaigns, collect information and stories, and invite people to become members and take action.
