Community Organizer - Northern Manhattan and the Bronx
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 / year
We seek a self-motivated, outgoing Community Organizer to build a base of leaders in the Bronx and maintain and grow our current leadership in Northern Manhattan. The organizer will conduct training, education, and leadership development among parents and prospective parents in New York. This role involves engaging parent-leaders in city and state campaigns and coalitions related to our mission. The Community Organizer will plan and facilitate neighborhood and city-wide in-person meetings on weekends—when parents are available—ensure child care options are provided, and implement ongoing leadership development training throughout the year.

The Communications Director will drive the organization’s communications strategies and lead media relations efforts to amplify our child care advocacy and impact. This role is ideal for a skilled communicator with strong media instincts, writing chops, and an interest in child care policy, New York City and Albany advocacy, and politics.
