Parent and would-be parent organizing has lead to historic commitments from Governor Hochul and Mayor Mamdani to bring 2-K to NYC. But it’s up to us to make sure 2-K and universal child care are still the priority for our elected leaders.

One important way to do that is to share our experiences how the high cost of child care has impacted our families and communities in the press, at hearings, on social media and to one another.
